About Jasmine
Jasmine Thornley Coleman was born and raised in Davis County, Utah. She grew up and attended school in Farmington and Kaysville. She was a straight A student, an accomplished pianist and ballet dancer. She also participated in many of the choirs at Davis High School.
Jasmine attended Southern Utah University and Weber State University to study Sociology on full scholarship.
She married, relocated to St. Louis, Missouri, and had three sons in four years. After 6 years in St. Louis, she divorced and relocated back to her hometown of Farmington. She arrived in Farmington with her three handsome, fun, smart boys! At the time they were all under the age of 4. She finished her degree at BYU Idaho, through the Pathways Program.
Jasmine has taught seminary for 6 years at Bountiful High School and was reassigned to the Ogden Weber Institute in the fall of 2023. She loves studying the gospel, sharing the teachings of Jesus Christ, and interacting with her students. Her life experience has taught her that the Atonement and Gospel of Jesus Christ give her the tools to face life’s many challenges.
In her spare time, which there isn’t much of, Jasmine enjoys snow skiing with her boys, reading, cooking, doing small home repairs, and watching her boys participate in their many sports.
