About Lynnea

Sister Lynnea Hamatake is the Assistant to the Director at the Ogden Weber Campus Institute.  She has worked for Seminaries and Institutes for 18 years and has been here at Weber for the past 7.

Lynnea spent her childhood in Carmichael, California, before her family moved to Fruit Heights, Utah, when she was in High School.  She has loved living in Utah where she gets to enjoy the change of seasons.

Her current church calling has her serving as secretary of the Relief Society. 

In her spare time, Lynnea loves interior decorating her home, watercolor painting, doing any kind of craft project, and growing flowers in her yard.  Lynnea and her husband, Bart, are parents to 7 grown children and the grandparents to 17 of the cutest kids you’ll ever see!
