About Brent

Brother Brown loves his family, especially when the family is at Disneyland, or he and his wife are on a cruise.  Besides vacationing, Brother Brown enjoys golf (though he’s terrible), road biking, listening to audio books (mysteries), working in the yard, and sports (Jazz and college football most).

He met Shannon Murphy at the Ogden Weber Institute and they both graduated from Weber State on the same day.  He went on to teach seminary in Utah County, get another degree at BYU, teach Institute in Dallas Texas, and then came back to Utah to do seminary teaching and administration in Davis County.

Life for him is so good with 3 married boys, a wonderful dog-groomer daughter, 3 grandkids in Portland, Oregon, and an annoying little Cocker Spaniel.  He feels that, even with life’s regular challenges, the Lord has blessed him and his family beyond what he deserves.
