Biography

Brother Smith was born and lived in Ogden for the first 13 years of his life. His family then moved to Kaysville, where he was one of three young men in his ward. As a young teenager, he thought that his parents had ruined his life. Little did he know that he would meet his eternal companion, Annalisa Felt, at Davis High School. They both graduated from Davis in 1983 and served on the Missionary Committee at the Ogden Institute. Brother Smith was called to serve in the England London South Mission. He received a Bachelor of Integrated Studies degree from Weber State University and a M.A. Ed in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Phoenix. During his 27 years of teaching in Seminaries and Institutes, he has had the great blessing of teaching at Ogden, Roy, Bonneville, Rocky Mountain, Sand Ridge, Wahlquist and Canyon View. He and his wife of 32 years are the parents of five children, and grandparents of 2 (almost 3) grandchildren. Brother Smith loves the Lord, his wife, youth and young adults, any water sport, volleyball, the outdoors and spending time with his family.
